Independent Can Company captures Print Excellence Award
Independent Can Company was recognised for excellence in print quality by the International Metal Decorator’s Association (IMDA) at their annual conference held in May.
This year the IMDA received 140 entries from metal lithographers representing eight countries for evaluation of printing techniques, innovation, and overall print quality.
Independent Can Company has been honoured repeatedly over the last 15 years, recognised with the ‘Award of Excellence’ and ‘Best of Category’ in Speciality Packaging, as well as in Signs and Displays.
The 2016 ‘Best of Category’ award for Speciality Packaging was presented to Independent Can Company for the Indulgent Popcorn Mix Holiday Tin. This speciality tin is a two-gallon tapered popcorn can with a reflective winter scene against a rich, black background.
Over the past decade Independent Can has standardised on Metalstar II printing equipment specifically designed for high definition printing on metal.
