A Candid Crown

Having already secured the services of Robert H. Bourque Jr., who will present as a keynote speaker at Asia CanTech 2016, Bell Publishing can also announce that Nandkumar Bhosale, regional technical manager at Crown Asia Pacific Holdings, Singapore, will be appearing in the popular Candid Forum feature at the show.

In its inaugural launch, the Candid Forum at Euro CanTech 2016 was one of the main attractions with the likes of industry heavyweights Colin Gillis and Atit Bhatia participating in a lively debate with audience participation. The Forum is essentially an opportunity for can makers and suppliers to discuss in an open platform about the key issues facing the metal packaging industry today.

Bhosale will be a valuable addition to the Forum with his extensive experience of the Asian can making marketplace. He has been responsible for commissioning and installing 10 easy open end lines in Asia and since 2007 he has provided operational and technical support to 18 end lines across the Asia region in projects planning, evaluation and management and process improvement for Crown Asia Pacific Holdings in Singapore.

Commenting on the announcement, Megan Freeman, events manager of Asia CanTech, said: “I am delighted that Mr Bhosale will be joining us on the panel of our new Candid Forum at Asia CanTech this November. I very much appreciate Crown Asia Pacific’s support at the event and look forward to welcoming Mr Bhosale, Mr Bourque (president) and the rest of the Crown team.

“It promises to be a tremendous event and we will soon be making more announcements with regards to the Candid Forum panel.”

The Asia CanTech conference and exhibition brings together global suppliers and can makers and fillers from across Asia. No other event offers the same opportunity to maximise the exchange of ideas between suppliers, can makers and fillers in the region.

The event consists of a two-day conference featuring key note speakers from the industry, a technical forum and suppliers’ exhibition. There will be extensive time for formal and informal networking and business.

The event takes place on 7-9 November 2016, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
