Stolle Canton under national TV spotlight

Stolle Canton received national recognition on 25 April when they hosted a live one-hour television broadcast of ‘The First 100 Days’, a special Fox News Series that explored president Donald Trump’s first 100 days in the office with live broadcasts from locations around the US.

Fox News selected Stolle Canton as the location for the broadcast because the facility represents a positive example of the US manufacturing and economic recovery. It was reported that many Democrats in Stark County, Ohio where Stolle Canton is located, switched parties to vote Republican in the last presidential election.

The series featured commentator Martha MacCallum, and guests included former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, Former Trump Labor Secretary Nominee Andrew Puzder, and Ohio Republican Party Chair Jane Timken.

Stolle executives that were interviewed by MacCallum were Michael Larson, chief operating officer and Michael Raderchak, vice president of global solutions. Raderchak spoke about a renewed optimism in the manufacturing sector and how Stolle has positioned itself to better compete on a global level. Larson commented about how Stolle is recently seeing more interest in young people about pursuing careers in the revitalised manufacturing sector. A number of audience members, including several Stolle Canton employees, also made comments during the show.

Larsen commented: “We were very pleased to be featured on the Fox News ‘The First 100 Days’ series, and I think the Stolle Canton facility and audience did a great job of representing the resurgence of America as a world leader in manufacturing and in developing new technologies.”
