Trac and Stolle agree partnership

Trac Measurement Systems and Stolle Machinery have joined forces in Brazil.

The two companies have reached an agreement that will allow Stolle to support Trac products in South America.

Stolle Machinery Brazil [SMB] is renowned throughout South America for the manufacturing of machinery and other capital equipment that is supplied to beverage can and ends makers.

Stolle’s engineers possess core engineering and electrical skills that will prove to be valuable when supporting Trac products.

The Trac/Stolle partnership is part of the Trac globalisation strategy to bring Trac’s product support closer to its customers.

By increasing its worldwide coverage through new strategic locations, new partnerships and new technology Trac is aiming to deliver local support, increased response efficiency and provide technical support in local languages, all with the aim of reducing the cost of product ownership to customers.

Commenting on the partnership, Michael Parry, Trac Measurement Systems managing director, said: “As we expand our global operations and product range for the metal container industry it is vital to our customers and our future that we continue to provide a world class service and support function. Our agreed partnership with Stolle Brazil will enable us to provide local support and ensure that the equipment we provide for critical quality control testing is maintained to the highest level and in the most effective timeframe.”

Arnaldo Costa, Stolle Machinery Brazil managing director, added: “This partnership with Trac is in line with our strategy of having more to offer our local customers, to release them from being dependent on imported services and parts, which is always more labour intensive than having local suppliers. Our compromise with the customer basis in South America continues the same: we will do our best to support its production line and never leave a customer with a problem.”
