Crown refreshes tea brand design

Crown unveils the newly designed tea caddy tin for Betty’s brand.

Inspired by Betty’s famous café tea rooms, the metal container manufactured by Crown is testament to the brand’s heritage and its premium teas. Designed by Yorkshire artist Emily Sutton, the collectible tin depicts quirky 20th century illustrations, set against a soft matt black finish that gives the container a vintage look.

The caddy contains a box of 80 tea blends that are served daily in the six café tea rooms found across the Yorkshire countryside. The metal container conveys the style of the first Betty’s tea room opened in 1919.

A distinguished and instantly recognisable presence on the retail shelves, the tin makes for an original gift and the ideal souvenir for English tea lovers around the world.
