Crown’s orbit closure debuts in Poland
Polish fruit and vegetable processor Dawtona has partnered with Crown Food Europe to bring the Orbit Closure to Poland’s retail shelves for the first time.
The product, Ogórki Luksusowe pickles, was introduced exclusively in collaboration with Auchan, one of the country’s largest store networks.
Crown’s Orbit Closure eases the opening process of the pickle jar with its two-part design: a central, floating panel that is vacuum sealed to the jar and an outer ring that provides further product protection and acts as the opening and re-closing device.
The Orbit Closure can run on existing capping machinery and requires minimal, simple change-parts, Crown says.
Since its initial launch in 2011, the Orbit Closure has been adopted by brands across over ten European countries for a range of markets and applications spanning from jams to preserved vegetables.
