Sourisseau to lead Crown’s European cans and closures business

Didier Sourisseau has been appointed senior vice president of Crown Food Europe – cans and closures. Sourisseau, who previously served as vice president of Crown’s worldwide speciality packaging business unit, is aiming to drive the growth of the company’s food and closures businesses in Europe.

Campbell’s Soup appoints new CEO

Food and drinks giant Campbell Soup has appointed Denise Morrison as its new president and chief executive officer. She will take over from Douglas Conant on August 1. Conant will step down after more than a decade in the role. He will also leave Campbell’s board of directors.

New sales chief for Ball Packaging Europe

Thomas Haensch has been announced as the new vice president of sales and marketing at Ball Packaging Europe. His predecessor Rob Miles was appointed vice president of sales for North American beverage packaging at the start of this year.

Mueller joins Crown’s board

Crown Holdings has announced that Josef Mueller has been elected to the company’s board of directors. The board now has 12 members. Mueller has spent his entire 35-year career with Nestlé for which he most recently served as chairman and CEO of the company’s Greater China Region until his retirement in 2007.
