Being that early bird

I am your typical journalist when it comes to completing articles and deadlines at the last minute. One of my resolutions for the year ahead is to be a little more organised when it comes to planning articles and events throughout the year.

A Happy New Year

A Happy New Year to all of you from the team at Bell Publishing and CanTech International. We like to think that 2016 was a successful time for us with Euro CanTech and Asia CanTech being well received, and the launch of our magazine app.

Festive cheer

Our latest issue of CanTech International has just gone to press. The highlight of this month’s issue is unquestionably our exclusive interview with Ardagh’s new CEO of its metal food and speciality division, Woep Möller.

Black Friday!

I’m sure it’s not just me whose inbox has been inundated with Black Friday offers this week. In keeping with the theme, we are offering a special 20 per cent off our online subscription.

After the lord mayor’s show

I hope those of you who attended last week’s Asia CanTech had an enjoyable and productive time out in Malaysia. On behalf of the organisers at Bell Publishing, let me just say a huge thank you for all those who attended.

Here we go again

We are now only a few days from Asia CanTech at the Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and we certainly have plenty to look forward to.

Looking ahead

Autumn in the UK is one of my favourite times of the year. It’s time to dust off the winter garments, and wrap up warm for the winter months ahead.

Questions and answers

Today is the deadline if you would like to submit any questions to our panel for our Candid Forum feature at Asia CanTech. The Candid Forum panel includes Crown’s Nandkumar Bhosale, Kian Joo’s Tony Foo Mun Choong and Tata Steel’s Simon Vooijs.

It’s an innovation thing

I’ve just returned from an enjoyable couple of days visiting Moravia Cans based in the Czech Republic. Although it was a tricky journey – landing in Vienna, driving through Slovakia and into the Czech Republic, it was certainly a worthwhile visit.
