CMB Engineering has been included in the Queen’s 90th birthday book publication.
Inside the book, the publication includes many of the UK businesses that have been successful during her reign. Here is an extract of CMB’s entry within the book:
For Andrew Truelove, General Manager of CarnaudMetalbox (CMB) Engineering, Her Majesty The Queen’s birthday celebrations have a special meaning. “I was invited with John Crabtree, our Lead Engineer, to a reception at Buckingham Palace in 2014 to celebrate winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise,” he says. “This award is the highest honour a UK business can receive, and few manage to make the grade.” To have garnered three, as CarnaudMetalbox has done – for Technological Achievement and twice for Enterprise in the International Trade category – is a rare distinction indeed.
Featuring a cover embossed with Arnold Machin’s iconic portrait of Her Majesty The Queen, ‘The Queen at 90’ is the official commemorative album published for The Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration which were held at Windsor Castle in May 2016, and the only commemorative album sanctioned and endorsed by the event’s organisers.
