CannedWater4Kids & INX International collaborate for Hurricane Harvey disaster relief

CannedWater4Kids (CW4K) and INX International Ink Co. have joined forces to send a truckload of drinking water (52,800 12oz cans) to help with the Hurricane Harvey disaster relief efforts.

Natural disasters can damage and contaminate drinking water sources, creating a need for clean water. The cans of purified water have reportedly been delivered to a Red Cross Distribution Centre near Houston, Texas, the region hit hardest by the hurricane

Greg Stromberg, CannedWater4Kids water charity CEO, said: “This is the first of many truckloads we hope to send. Without hesitation, we helped. It was the right thing to do because clean, safe drinking water is a valuable resource. One doesn’t realise how valuable until it is gone.”

Renee Schouten, director of marketing for INX, added: “We are doing our part as good corporate citizens. It is important to be there for people, in good times and in bad. Providing clean water to communities enduring a crisis will aid in recovery and hopefully give some sense of comfort to those in need.”
