Rexam’s Fusion bottles used by Rok
Rok Natural Energy is using aluminium bottles from Rexam for its energy drinks range.
US-based Rok has already started using the Fusion beverage bottles, which are supplied by the can maker.
The 33cl bottles are being produced at the company’s Epjovice plant, near Prague in the Czech Republic. The Rok range was previously only available in 25cl bottles.
“The consumer trial that we ran in 2010 proved we had the beverage and the brand right, but we needed a packaging option that was going to represent the premium product inside,” says Bruce Renny of Rok Natural Energy.
Throughout 2011, the company will launch a range of new products including, Rok Natural Energy Light and Rok Natural Energy Light with antioxidants.
