Seaming systems from Lanico
Lanico will be presenting a range of stainless can seaming machines at this year’s Interpack.
The automatic model V1 10 SVA 50 T is designed for low volume production and laboratory applications, and is stainless and splashproof. The machine can operate as a stand-alone unit or in combination with a filling machine.
By means of four seaming rollers, production speeds of up to 3,000 cans per hour can be reached. The machine also has a working range from 45 up to 250 millimetres height and from 56 up to 113 millimetres diameter. The seaming rollers are mounted and preset on a special lever system, and when a diameter change is carried out the whole lever system is exchanged to avoid the length set-up time of the seaming rollers. The frequency-controlled motor drive ensures a smooth start-up and the cans and ends are fed automatically. The machine can be controlled via touch panel. For processing oxygen-sensitive products it can be equipped with a gas injection system.
Lanico also offer the semi-automatic can seaming machine V 110 PH for butcher shop, laboratory and general canning applications. The machine can be used in both wet and dry operations and can reach speeds of up to 850 cans per hour. The V 110 PH processes cans from 42 up to 163 millimetres diameter. The adjustment system permits height changes in a range between 26 and 300 millimetres. Additional features are the automatic seaming system by means of seaming rollers with heavy duty bearings and the height-independent pneumatic can clamping adjustment. By use of a roller carriage, the machine can be flexibly used within production.
The stainless and splashproof semi-automatic can seaming machine V 10 ECO, an entry-level model, is ideally suited for craft businesses, small industrial production and laboratory applications. It features a working range from 26 up to 120 millimetres height and from 73 up to 113 millimetres diameter. Two seaming rollers perform an airtight double seam. Up to 600 cans per hour can be seamed. Can height adjustments are carried out automatically whereas diameter changes are completed using the special preset lever systems. For easy and quick format changes, the seaming rollers are mounted and preset on a special lever system. An additional feature is its hygienic and ergonomic design. A roller carriage permits highly-flexible usage of the V 10 ECO within production.
