Takeuchi elected as new Aerobal president
Aerobal has elected Takaaki Takeuchi as its new president.
Takeuchi is the managing director of Thailand-based aerosol can maker Alucon, and will now head up the aerosol can making industry organisation.
In his inaugural address, he said: “Innovation in can design, improved productivity and sustainability in can production are the key challenges of the industry and will therefore continue to be at the top of the agenda of Aerobal members. With an average worldwide market growth of nine per cent in the last six years, the aluminium aerosol can industry has proven its sustained dynamism. It is very likely that this positive trend is going to continue this year because on average order intakes have been growing by two-digit figures in the first semester of 2011.”
