New international responsibilities announced at SLAC

Peter Strode has been appointed chief commercial officer, International Accounts, at SLAC, as of 3 February 2023, in addition to his current responsibilities as managing director of Intercan Group.
Peter founded Intercan in 1986 to design, manufacture and upgrade beverage can decorating equipment. He is a well-known figure in the industry and has a deep knowledge of the beverage can business. Intercan joined SLAC in 2017 and serves as a base for supporting sales and installation of SLAC beverage can and end equipment in Europe, in addition to its ongoing print equipment activity.
Rainer Berkefeld, sales and business development director for the EMEA region, will report to Peter Strode on International Accounts.
This follows the resignation of Chris McKenzie, who is leaving SLAC to take up other opportunities outside the organisation.
