He also holds the position of treasurer at the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA).
Saunders joined the metal packaging industry in 1985.

Jason Galley began his career as a metallurgist at Carnaud Metal Box (now Crown Holdings Inc) and held subsequent senior positions at companies including American National Can, Alcan Packaging, Aerocan, as well as undertaking 12 years at Ball Corporation. He has worked across many steel and aluminium packaging sectors including beverage, food, pharmaceutical, household, and personal care. He also has a wealth of experience in operations, R&D and sustainability.

With over two decades worth of experience, Nicola involves herself with packaging legislation as well as being an advocate for engaging communications to consumers.

Simon Jennings

Simon Jennings is owner and advisor of Nomis Consultancy. In this role he is responsible for supporting the board and owners of a number of packaging and related businesses.
Simon took early retirement and set up his consultancy firm after spending 16 years with Rexam. He was most recently managing director of Rexam Beverage Can Asia Pacific but has held a number of roles at senior management/director level across the group.
He played a significant role in Rexam’s transformation from a diverse conglomerate into the world’s second largest consumer packaging group.
Prior to joining Rexam, Jennings worked for O-I United Glass, Kimberly Clark and Rockware Group.

Robert Gary

Robert Gary is in global commercial liaison at Stolle Machinery Company. Robert has worked in the food industry for the last 40 years. During college studies he worked on a three-piece can line for General Can. He started his career in 1970 with American Nut Company in the supply department, hedging edible oils and production scheduling.
Since then he has held a variety of positions. In 1976, Robert joined Carnation Tuna where he was master production scheduler, director of purchasing and then vice operations director.
In 1982, Robert became director of La Mer Industries Trading Company in seafood products. He joined Howington Northern (Sequa Capital) in 1986, where he was vice president finance and treasurer, can manufacturing plants.
In 1990, he was made managing director of sales for can making equipment at Redicon Corporation. In 2000, Robert moved to Stolle Machinery Company where he was vice president and general manager of Canton Operations. He held that position until 2004 before being appointed senior vice president of sales and marketing.
