GEW appoints new sales manager for Germany

UK-based UV curing systems manufacturer GEW has announced its appointment of Jan Jonissek as sales manager, Germany. Jonissek commences his role with immediate effect and will initially focus on northern Germany, from his office base near Hamburg. He will bring improved geographical coverage in the region, to support the existing team at GEW D-A-CH, who are based near Stuttgart in southern Germany.

Jonissek joins GEW with a wealth of industry experience, having spent the past ten years with Eltosch Grafix / Hoenle AG, where he specialised in project management and sales of LED curing systems. He joined Eltosch Grafix as a Project Manager in 2016, with responsibility for the management of complex, worldwide projects with international partners. In 2021, Jonissek progressed to become a Key Account Manager and was responsible for the success and expansion of a key OEM partnership in the sheetfed and web offset sector.

In his new role with GEW, Jonissek will manage regional sales across many applications, including label and web printing and converting, sheetfed and web offset printing, and all industrial and specialist UV projects.

He has sound expertise in technical sales and negotiation, alongside his experience in customer-focused product development and in building strong client relationships.”

Jonissek’s early career includes a period of project management with Mercedes Benz | Daimler AG in Bremen, as part of his graduation as a Bachelor of Engineering in the field of Industrial Engineering. He is fluent in both German and English.
