Building up to Metpack

It’s that time of year again as we build up to show season here at Bell Publishing. Our March issue sees your essential guide to Metpack, with April taking a more detailed look at the company’s exhibiting at the show. There will be a detailed look at the latest equipment being showcased too; if your company would like to be featured, please send a 200 word preview and supporting image to me by no later than 10 March.

Speaking of Metpack, at the show we will have a couple of show offers ourselves. Of course, all will be revealed closer to the time… I have been told that our stand is something to behold though.

It was a pleasure to catch up with regular columnist Evert van de Weg last week to discuss editorial plans for the year ahead. During that time Mark and I managed to sneak in a round of golf with him in preparation for IMDA’s annual golf day in May. I managed to use my mid-20s handicap to good effect, coming out on top during the day. We certainly will be prepared for Chicago this time around. I hope our columnist has made it home though, as the wonderful British transport system ensured that his flight was cancelled and his journey home consisting of something akin to the John Candy film Planes, Trains and Automobiles. We assume he’s made it home in one piece!

Editorial deadlines for our March issue close this week, so if there is anything you need to shout about, please get in touch.

Have a great week.
