All ideas welcomed

You will be hearing more from me from now on as I have recently taken over editorial responsibility for CanTech International.

Having previously worked as assistant editor on the magazine, I have already met a number of people in the industry and have been impressed by the passion with which they speak about metal packaging. Going forward, I will be looking to develop the magazine in my own way. If anyone has any ideas on how the magazine could be improved then I am open to suggestions. If you want to get in touch then please email me at [email protected].

Our industry interview is with Rick Clendenning, CEO and president of INX International, who gives an honest assessment of how the recession affected the company and what strides it took to come out of it strongly.

We are now looking forward to Asia CanTech 2010. The annual conference and meeting point for can makers and fillers in the Asia Pacific region is now in its fourth year. If you would like to find out more or if you are interested in attending then please visit www.asia-can.com or email [email protected]

I look forward to seeing you all there. Please be sure to come and say hello. It will be a good opportunity to put some more faces to names.
