A quick update
I hope this blog finds our readers well. Just a few comments from myself this week:
Our July issue is out now – click here to read online for free.
Our August Supplier Profile issue is beginning to take shape nicely. Please be sure to get in touch with Mark Neilson: [email protected] if you’re interested in joining the profile. It really is a who’s who of the industry for 2020/21 can making industry.
Good news as Messe Essen is set to host its first trade fair since the Covid-19 pandemic. This bodes well for Metpack in 20201…
Check out a number of interesting webinars from companies innovating. The likes of Koenig & Bauer and Nidec Minster are providing some interesting material online for can makers.
Lockdown measures are still in place for many countries globally, but we’re seeing positive recycling rates for cans, particularly in the UK. Perhaps the environmental message is beginning to penetrate.
This year’s Asia CanTech is still planned to go ahead, but even organisers are keeping a close eye on governmental advise with regards to travel, PPE and social distancing.
