Success in Asia
Hello and welcome back from Asia. Our conference Asia CanTech 2014 was hailed a success by attendees and ourselves and we are very pleased with the feedback we have received from both exhibitors and delegates alike.
The event featured a wide range of speakers from around the world of can making, and we will shortly be making the presentations available online for those of you who were not able to join us in Bangkok.
Talking to everybody throughout the three days was a pleasure, and uncovered some interesting snippets of information. According to those in the know, India is going to be a region to watch in the coming years. More than a handful of people mentioned India to me over the course of the event and it seems that there could be much business to be done as the market starts to travel in the right direction there.
The Middle East was also of interest, with new lines planned and capacity increasing steadily there. Watch this space for a potential regional focus early next year.
Congratulations to our Asia CanTech award winners also. The standard of entries was extremely high as always and gave the judges a hard time when it came to making the final decisions.
The venue for next year’s event will be announced in due course and it is never to early to register.
