Date: 23 June 2026
Location: Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre, The University of Manchester

Join The University of Manchester’s Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) for a full‑day technical forum exploring how graphene is transforming protective coatings and formulation technologies. This free event brings together technical expertise from Graphene@Manchester, industry leaders and sector associations to discuss the latest breakthroughs in 2D materials and their real‑world applications.

Thanks to graphene’s exceptional strength, thermal conductivity and chemical stability, coatings can be made thinner, more durable and more sustainable. This event looks at the science, hear from companies already using the technology, and tour GEIC’s state‑of‑the‑art facilities.

This event is relevant to professionals in marine, aerospace, automotive, defence, construction, medical, packaging, transportation, renewables/green tech, electronics, consumer goods and textiles.

This event is free, but capacity is limited. Please select “Join Waitlist” when registering. The GEIC will confirm your place via email; if you cannot attend, please let the GEIC know as soon as possible so your spot can be offered to another delegate.

Additional details

  • Lunch and refreshments are included.
