CMI triumphs with can video

Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI) has received a silver award in the 2015 All Media Contest. The winning entry, a custom video with two-minute and 60-second versions, was written, designed and produced by Fixation for CMI’s ‘Open Up to Cans’ B2B campaign.

‘Open Up to Cans’ is a research-based awareness campaign designed to educate and inform beverage brand owners about the benefits of aluminium cans. The winning video is part of a tool kit that shares the attributes important in making a packaging decision, taste, branding, product protection, performance and sustainability.

Sherrie Rosenblatt, vice president of marketing and communication at CMI, said: “Fixation has been a strategic and creative partner to CMI since 2013. The ‘Open Up to Cans’ B2B campaign, and the previous ‘Cans: The Smart and Sustainable Solution’ campaign, help CMI communicate a great story that aluminium beverage cans are not only the environmentally responsible packaging choice but also a superior packaging for protecting product integrity and showcasing beverage brands and graphics.”
