BAMA Forum guests to attend Graffiti School

BAMA has announced that David Speed, founder of Graffiti Life will deliver a presentation on perceptions of graffiti and the background to the art as well as providing a practical workshop at the Forum later this year.
Delegates will be divided into two groups with one listening to the presentation and the second taking part by adding graffiti to BAMA’s mural design which will later go on display in the BAMA office
Speaking of the difficulties faced by graffiti artists in the 1970’s due to the uncontrollable nature of aerosol paint, Speed, said: “Now aerosol paints are pretty much perfect. The pressure of modern cans makes them very controllable. Spray paint remains at the core of the team’s artwork we continue to find new ways to utilise the technology of the aerosol can.”
The presentation and workshops will take place on 20 October.
