AkzoNobel appoints Grote as deputy chairman

AkzoNobel has selected Byron Grote as deputy chairman of its supervisory board.

Grote, a former board director of BP was appointed to AkzoNobel’s supervisory board in 2014 and is currently chairman of the audit committee. He is also a non executive director of Tesco, Anglo-American and Standard Chartered.
