BAMA confirms aerosol introduction course

The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) has announced plans to run a course providing an introduction to aerosol technology at St Paul’s Hotel in Sheffield.

The two-day course entitled ‘Introduction to Aerosol Technology’ is designed to give a understanding of how aerosols work, how the components, such as cans and valves, and the final product is manufactured, what affects the performance, as well as the environmental and regulatory considerations that need to be taken into account.

It is also designed for those who are new to the industry or anyone wanting to refresh their knowledge. It is suitable for delegates who want to expand their knowledge within the sector. Course numbers are limited to allow for discussion and interaction with the expert speakers and other delegates.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Introduction and regulatory framework
  • Tinplate aerosol cans
  • Aluminium aerosol cans
  • Plastic containers
  • Glass containers
  • Aerosol valves
  • Propellants
  • Formulation
  • Aerosol filling

The expert speakers work within the aerosol industry and will draw on their many years of experience within this dynamic sector. The course also provides delegates with an ideal opportunity to network.

For 2017, BAMA is offering a new lower rate of £295+VAT for members. For non-members the cost to attend is £760+VAT.
