M&S launches festive gin & tonic in a can

Marks & Spencer has launched a festive version of its canned gin & tonic cocktail.

The seasonal cocktail is a mix of Indian tonic water with two measures of Christmas Dry Gin, which is flavoured with hints of ginger, cardamom and cinnamon.

The gin is handcrafted at Edinburgh-based distillery, The Old Curiosity, where master distiller Hamish Anderson boasts a secret herb garden of 600 naturally grown and tendered varieties of herbs and flowers.

Cocktails in a can have been gaining popularity for a while, with sales up 50% year on year, according to M&S.

The 250ml Christmas Gin & Tonic cans are available in Marks & Spencer stores now for £2.
