Sencon to display innovation in technology at Metpack

Sencon’s booth at the Metpack event this year promises to showcase innovation in manufacturing technology.

Sencon’s ELTP End Light Tester has received a complete redesign and is now branded as Quasar Light Detection. It is comprehensively equipped with the latest electronic and mechanical advances, which doubles detection sensitivity while preventing false rejects. Quasar’s six lane capability and increased top speed places it as the ideal light tester for the latest press designs, says Sencon.

Quasar is a step change in detection capability that delivers Industry 4.0 data output. At the same time, it comes with has a highly compact control panel that saves space and cost, as well as boasting an intuitive interface which gives users detailed feedback and system control.

Sencon’s popular MLT Micro Leak Tester for ends has received a similar increase in processing power, plus mechanical changes which further enhance this durable tester. The new processor power delivers intelligent adaptive algorithms which dynamically respond to changing conditions on the line to maximize detection while minimizing false positives. These features will be included in future systems and offered as an upgrade to the extensive installation base.

Additionally, Sencon will be unveiling an all new automatic enamel rater (PG5600) at Metpack. With a throughput of five cans per minute, the company says that it is the fastest auto enamel rater available. It offers all the advantages of Sencon’s built-in self-checking technology in a compact, robust and economically priced system.

Sencon’s non-contact Finished Can/Back End Gauge will also be demonstrating its unique ability to measure the increasingly important Flange Angle, Seamer Clearance and Reform features, in addition to the regular finished can dimensions.

Sencon will be located in Hall 3 at Stand 3D25 at Metpack (5-9 May 2020, Essen).
