SLAC invests in new innovation centre in China

The China Securities Journal has announced that SLAC has invested in an industrial park dedicated to digital printing and innovative manufacturing technologies.

The innovation centre is on a new 24 acre site in Changzhou City, Jiangsu province that will, once the tunnel under Lake Taihui is finished, will be 45 mins from the Suzhou facility by car.

Shu An, chairman of Suzhou SLAC Equipment Ltd, explains: “We are trying to start a new era, like Edison invented the move in 1891 in New Jersey spawning a huge new age.

“We will achieve the same by this small step in China.”

SLAC will build a smart manufacturing integration innovation centre with an automated digital printing manufacturing workshop, sales, logistics and exhibition venue in the park. The functions of the centre will be divided into an intelligent manufacturing innovation experience centre, a can-themed communication space, a joint gathering place for new media, an industrial service platform, training and education base as well as an investment and financing service centre.

The Management Committee of Wujin District reserves 24 acres of land for the development of Jiangsu Zhengyan Company.
