Trac strengthens Asian presence

Trac Measurement Systems is strengthening its presence in Asia after announcing an extension to its service and business development resources in the area.

Simon Buck, who is currently based in the company’s UK office, will be relocating to Hong Kong in June 2012 and will focus on providing local service and support to Trac’s existing and future customers in the region.

The company is a leader in the design, manufacture and installation of gauging, inspection and measurement Systems for the metal packaging, automotive, aerospace and other industry sectors.

By locating Simon in Asia the company is aiming to offer a more local service to its clients operating in the same or similar time zone and within shorter travel distance.

Michael Parry, managing director, said: “In the future it is our intention to increase the level of resources further in Asia Pacific and to open a regional service and sales office in a strategic location. We are confident that this added investment in the Asia region will provide our clients with a further enhanced customer experience and enable us to co-operate closer with our customers as we continue to develop our product and service offering.”
