Moravia Cans joins MPMA as associate member

Moravia Cans has become the latest can maker to join the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA) as an associate member.

A Czech Republic based European producer of aluminium aerosol cans, Moravia Cans has approximately 400 employees and supports its customers’ businesses across Europe.

Berry van Soest, sales director, Moravia Cans, said: “We were especially interested in the MPMA’s insight and involvement in developments across the UK and European packaging regulatory landscape post Brexit and with new legislation coming down the line. It is reassuring to be part of an Association that looks out for our industry’s interests in this respect.”

MPMA director and chief executive, Robert Fell, said: ”We are delighted to welcome Moravia Cans to the MPMA fold. The metal packaging sector benefits from having a collective voice, and the wider the membership of the Association, the greater influence it will have in shaping legislation that impacts our sector.”
