OKL expands into Brazil

OKL Can Line, a supplier of equipment to the beverage can industry, has expanded into Brazil.

The US company has signed an agreement with Canpar to service OKL customers in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. It will be headed up by Andreia Cardoso.

Commenting on the expansion, George Shillcock, OKL sales manager, said: “With many successful new product and upgrade offerings, inquires from these regions is increasing dramatically. We felt it was time to offer a better way to service and communicate with our customers in the territory. Canpar will ensure that OKL products are promoted and supported in this area.”

Cardoso brings many years of can making experience to her new role, having previously worked for Crown, Sequa Can and Rexam. She has already been busy visiting customers introducing herself and assisting with customer inquiries. She can be contacted to discuss all OKL products and will also assist with language differences and provide a local contact for can plants in the region.

OKL Can Line, is a worldwide supplier of improved OEM parts, upgrades and machine rebuilds for both Ragsdale and Standun bodymakers. The company is now able to offer brand new OKL Bodymakers.
