RMP and AMP scoop 2024 UK Packaging Awards

Roberts Metal Packaging and Ardagh Metal Packaging took the top awards in the ‘Metal Pack of the Year’ category sponsored by Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA) at the UK Packaging Awards, held at Grosvenor House, London on 10 October 2024.
Daisy Drops, created for Marc Jacobs by Roberts Metal Packaging, secured ‘Metal Pack of the Year – Decorative and General Line’ title, with Emballator awarded a Highly Commended for Johnstone’s Woodcare Garden Colours.
Ardagh Metal Packaging was announced the winner of the ‘Metal Pack of the Year – High Volume Food and Beverage’ category for its Tango Mango can for Britvic UK. Canpack SA was awarded a Highly Commended for its special edition cans of La Raoul Beer for Gouldale Brewery.
The ceremony was attended by over 600 packaging industry professionals with Metal Pack of the Year Awards presented by Jason Galley, director and chief executive of MPMA; ceremony host and comedian, Phil Jupitus; and editor of Packaging News, Waqas Qureshi.
Metal Pack of the Year – Decorative and General Line
Roberts Metal Packaging’s compact and eye-catching Daisy Drops aluminium tins, chosen from the company’s Softline jar collection, are handbag-sized packs for perfume capsules.
The tins are produced using advanced automated press lines and, with their smooth curves, light knurling, EPE liners for excellent sealability and simple but incredibly impactful design, combine both functionality and style.

Metal Pack of the Year – High Volume Food and Drink
Ardagh Metal Packaging’s eye-catching Tango Mango limited edition 330ml can was designed by Bloom London. This unique design features a printed end developed through a collaborative effort between AMP and Britvic, showcasing the innovative use of Ardagh Metal Packaging’s H!GHEND technology.
