McKenzie to leave CMbE

CarnaudMetalbox Engineering (CMbE), a leading manufacturer of can making technology, has announced the departure of sales manager Chris McKenzie.

McKenzie (pictured), who joined the company around a year ago, will be leaving effective from 12 February 2013. He will be returning to Brisbane, Australia, with his family.

“We truly appreciate Chris’s contributions to CMB Engineering over the last year. He helped us make important inroads into new markets and better position our product and service portfolio,” says Jim Cozier, general manager, CMB Engineering. “When joining us last year, Chris moved his family to the UK and their transition has been challenging. Chris’s return to Australia will put his family back into their comfort zone of friends, schooling and employment, allowing him to concentrate on his career knowing they are happy and settled. We wish them the best.

“As a company, we remain focused on providing high-performance machinery and superior service and support,” adds Cozier. “A critical reason we’re able to do that is our strong team of engineering and design experts. Our entire team is working closely with Chris to ensure that our customers do not experience any disruptions during the transition period.”
