Baosteel and Carabao announce collaboration

Baosteel Packaging and Thailand’s Carabao Group have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking a new phase in their business synergy and supply chain cooperation in Southeast Asia for metal packaging.

Leveraging Baosteel Packaging’s production capacity network in Southeast Asia, integrating Carabao Group’s strong brand channel resources, this collaboration will further enhance both parties’ localisation service capabilities and synergistic operational efficiency in the Southeast Asian market. 

The agreement was formalised on 4 December 2025 in Shanghai.

Under the cooperation framework, the two companies will leverage Baosteel Packaging’s established production network in Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries, combined with Carabao Group’s strong brand portfolio and extensive regional distribution channels. The collaboration is designed to support more localised production, improve end-to-end operational efficiency and enhance supply chain resilience across the region, the Bangkok Post reported.
