Re:Water, the UK-based aluminium bottled water brand, has announced it is investing in a new production site in Herefordshire that is set to quadruple its capacity, enabling the company to support major grocery, retail and hospitality partners at scale, as well as strengthen the company’s export ambitions.
The company has said that the scale-up is driven by consumers and businesses accelerating their shift away from single-use plastic and demanding sustainable, resealable formats.
Re:Water continues to innovate, with a new 750ml bottle launching in 2026, building on the success of the 330ml mini format.
Benjamin Rendell, director at Berrington Pure Spring Water, which owns the Re:Water brand, said: “We’re growing at pace and were forecast to reach capacity at our existing site. This investment is about staying ahead of that growth. The new site gives us the space to scale properly — adding production lines, increasing stock holding, and making sure everything remains in-house and under our control.”
Rhodri Lewis, director at Berrington Pure Spring Water, commented: “Consumers are moving away from single-use plastic, but they still want convenience and resealable formats they recognise and trust – and the numbers show it’s working. The new site allows us to meet that demand responsibly, while also reducing our own carbon footprint through increased on-site warehousing and fewer transport movements.”
