Canned tuna Mario is internet hit

A version of computer game icon Mario made out of tuna cans has become an online sensation.

The Italian American plumber, who has starred in a series of video games for technology giant Nintendo, was recreated out of cans as part of Canstruction Calgary.

So far the image has been viewed by more than 1.3m people on social network site Reddit
