Sparkling water brand, YEW, has launched the UK’s first pickle flavoured sparkling water. Available exclusively at Planet Organic stores and yewdrink.com (since 1 July), YEW Pickle is sparkling water with a splash of briny dill pickle, notes of fresh cucumber and a bright tangy finish, with zero sugar, zero sweetener, zero calories and nothing artificial.

Pickle is the latest and most adventurous addition to a range that already includes Pink Rhubarb, smooth, round and juicy, a classic British flavour reimagined; Green Apple, bold, punchy and fresh with a bright refreshing zing; and Yuzu Grapefruit, bright and zesty with lots of aromatic citrus.

“For us, flavour always starts with food,” said cook and YEW co-founder, Jesse Jenkins aka A.D.I.P. (Another Day in Paradise). “Pickle works so well in the kitchen because it cuts through richness, lifts a dish, and makes you want another bite. We wanted to capture that in a can and create something clean yet surprising and completely delicious.”

Launched by Francesca Zampi and Jesse Jenkins in September 2024, YEW has grown rapidly, securing distribution in more than 2,000 stocking points across retail and hospitality. In August, the brand will launch its full range on Ocado.com, the world’s largest dedicated online supermarket, which will become YEW’s exclusive grocery partner for six months.
