Bowers Electricals has been selected to supply seven new transformers for Tata Steel UK’s Invictus Pickle Line Project, supporting one of the biggest industrial transformation programmes underway in the UK.

The British manufacturer will provide the transformers for the new Pickle Line facility being delivered as part of Project Invictus – Tata Steel UK’s multi-billion-pound programme to transition to low-emission electric arc furnace-based steelmaking in Port Talbot.

The new transformers will form a key part of the electrical infrastructure supporting the facility and represent another example of British businesses contributing their expertise to the transformation of UK steelmaking.
