Crown reaches new labour agreement

Crown Cork & Seal USA, an affiliate of Crown Holdings, has reached a new three-year labour agreement with the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail & Transportation Workers Local 450 covering the company’s beverage can manufacturing facility in Kankakee, Illinois. The agreement commenced on November 3, 2014.

“Crown is pleased to have reached a mutually beneficial agreement with the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail & Transportation Workers, the second largest union with which Crown works in North America,” said Timothy Lorge, president of Crown North American Beverage Packaging. “We remain committed to the long-term success and well-being of our workforce and our stakeholders. We are confident this new agreement will help Crown deliver the innovation, quality and service our customers expect.”
