Rexam design centre a hit
On Friday 5 December CanTech visited the Rexam Design Centre in Luton, UK, to uncover exactly what can be achieved from a customer perspective.
A quarter of the head office is dedicated to this venture and it is proving to be a big hit with clients, with bookings out until the end of February – a busy schedule indeed.
There is a client room in which you can sit and work, with fast wifi connection, apple tv, a boardroom table and even an air hockey table should you wish to take a break from business for a while.
Paul Winright, graphics and design manager, told us that clients can come and work from this room and use it in any way they see fit. “Some clients have flown in from the continent and arranged meetings while they are here in order to make the most of their day,” he said.
The centre can take you from a concept or idea in your head to a finished proof in a matter of hours, allowing customers to realise in real time exactly what they envisaged before taking the design into full-scale production.
