NPB Automation
Hall 3, Stand 3D61
To remain a leading supplier in the end making industry, it takes more than just machines with high reliability and performance. NPB is keen that its machines perform at the highest level and the company wants to assist customers with the experience and knowledge its employees possess. Therefore, NPB has developed several services such as the Start Up Service to ensure that the start-up of a module is as optimal as possible, which makes customers reach expected production levels much faster.
To know how a plant is doing and performing, you must measure. NPB has developed its OEE system another step to NextGen OEE. With this system, it is possible to measure the status of individual units so that preventive maintenance can be carried out and minimise the risk of breakdowns.

VMI Can
Hall 1, Stand 1B12
VMI Can launches a number of retrofits that focus on minimising the impact on the environment by taking measures to save water and energy (ISO 50001) and improve wastewater quality (ISO 14001). VMI offers sustainability visits and audits, where a highly experienced engineer inspects and determines the condition of the customer’s VMI equipment. After the visit, the customer receives an extensive report with maintenance recommendations, proposed spare parts and an efficiency improvement plan on energy usage.
The ACOD and ACOD-XL systems were developed by VMI to significantly reduce (up to 33%) the water introduced into the dryer. This results not only in considerably reduced energy consumption of the VMI dryer, but also to reduced contamination of the washer stations.
These new features are not only available on new machines, but can also be retrofitted into existing equipment. This allows VMI customers to keep their existing equipment at best practice level throughout their lifecycle.
