Perfektüp, producer of aerosol cans, laminate tubes, and aluminium tubes, is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2025, from a business with its foundations in Türkiye that eventually expanded across Europe and the globe.
The company’s story began on 25 July 1955 in Istanbul, intending to meet the growing demand for aluminium slugs and tubes in a rapidly modernising Türkiye. Established by a consortium of local and international investors, Perfektüp has evolved into a global reference in both aluminium and laminate packaging –an industry leader built on continuous innovation, long-term partnerships and an unwavering commitment to quality.
In 1969, Perfektüp made its first export. To meet the growing needs of its customers, it began producing aerosol cans in 1975 and laminate tubes in 1993. Today, Perfektüp delivers high-performance packaging solutions to multiple industries – including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, home care, stationery, and chemicals. It exports to nearly 50 countries.
In 1992, aiming to strengthen its presence in Europe, Perfektüp established a production facility in Bulgaria. In 2022, it achieved a historic milestone by acquiring Tubettificio Favia, one of Italy’s most established pharmaceutical packaging producers. The resulting company, Tubettificio Perfektüp, became a symbol of two powerful legacies—Italian quality and Turkish industrial strength.
In 2024, Perfektüp completed the first phase of its new Kırklareli Production Campus in Türkiye by launching its aerosol can factory, including two new aerosol lines. This sustainability-focused facility – spanning 75,000 m² and capable of generating its energy – is a cornerstone of the company’s vision for the future and its transformation towards greater efficiency, it says.
Perfektüp’s story has always been shaped by bold decisions and forward-looking investments. One of the most tangible examples in recent years is the Kırklareli Production Campus, built with a deep commitment to environmental responsibility. Designed for high energy efficiency and minimal carbon emissions, the facility represents a major milestone in Perfektüp’s sustainability journey.
Perfektüp’s sustainability commitment extends beyond manufacturing. As a member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the company supports the transition to a circular economy. Through its patented Saving Water project, Perfektüp reduces water consumption in production processes. And with the creation of the Perfektüp Memorial Forest – home to over 10,000 newly planted trees—it leaves behind a lasting environmental legacy.
In a note, the company said: “Focusing on the future doesn’t mean compromising on today. Whether it’s an aluminium tube, aerosol can, or laminate tube, each of our products reflects strict quality control, continuous process improvement, and genuine care for our customers’ products and values. Whether for pharmaceuticals or cosmetics, our packaging solutions are built on performance, quality, and reliability.
“As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, our motivation to help shape the future of sustainable packaging is stronger than ever. Our mission is clear: to develop innovative, high-quality, and environmentally responsible packaging solutions that protect valuable products and support our customers’ goals.”
