Can-do attitude

This year has certainly felt a bit ‘move over Covid, there are new problems in town.’ However, as the December 2022/January 2023 edition of CanTech International will convey, our industry shows us time and time again that it’s poised to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow, continuing to strive for the best possible solutions, as well as transparency along the supply chain.

I’m sure many of us are going into 2023 reflective of what has been achieved in the past year, and what we can build on in the future. For me, taking on the responsibility of editor of CanTech has been hugely rewarding, and I hope to continue the magazine’s success into the New Year, as well as meeting many more of you in the industry, to strengthen our connections beyond just the virtual world.

It’s been great to see worldwide events finding their feet again after a couple of difficult years; CanTech‘s highlight was definitely Asia CanTech in October. We received possibly the best feedback from the event so far, and we’re looking forward to welcoming the metal packaging industry back for another successful conference next year from 30 October – 1 November.

Other industry events we’ll be attending at the beginning half of 2023 include Paris Packaging Week (25-26 January) and Metpack (2-6 May).

Have a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy the festive period, and best wishes to everyone for the New Year.
