Let the countdown begin

We are nearing the one month countdown for the 2024 edition CanTech the Grand Tour, which is shaping up to be an informative three days for the industry.
The event will take place at the ITC Maratha hotel in Mumbai from 26 to 28 March. As is usual for our shows, there will be a mix of tabletop exhibitions and a conference programme for all visitors to enjoy, as well as a gala dinner, the awards and plenty of beverages, snacks and lunch to keep everyone fuelled.
Kicking off the conference programme will be Sanjay Bhatia, president of the MCMA and managing director of Hindustan Tin Works.
The Indian metal packaging market has encouraging potential for further growth in three-piece cans – as I found out recently speaking with Saket Bhatia, Hindustan’s president and member of CanTech’s editorial board, for the upcoming March edition of the magazine – but there is still work to be done in terms of educating packaging manufacturers and consumers about metal’s circularity. CanTech the Grand Tour will aim to heighten exposure of this message by bringing together experts in the industry to discuss avenues of improvement.
An important thing to note is that the awards entries close soon, so make sure you’ve sent in your submissions in for a chance to win big at this year’s gala dinner on 27 March.
