Paris Expo Porte de Versailles will soon open its doors to the 2025 Paris Packaging Week (PPW) as the event gears up for its biggest edition yet.

I’m sure you’ve been reading all about it in our features, newsletters and social media, but we’re very excited to mark our partnership with ADF Paris and show our support for an incredibly strong European aerosol industry, as well as other sectors championed at PPW in the metal packaging sphere.

Flora McRitchie will be joining Sarah Hills and I on 28 January and Sarah and I will be attending the show on both days. We’re excited to network with such a diverse range of people and share our magazine, as well as see the latest innovations – the awards will be a highlight for sure.

In other news, today has been a busy day at the office as our February edition has gone to print, so expect that to land very soon.

We also attended a Mettler-Toledo webinar exploring the benefits and challenges of X-ray inspection for metal packaging, which detailed the parts of a can that are the easiest and most difficult for detecting defaults. We were then displayed visual examples of correct product handling, as well as being shown a live demonstration of the company’s X37 series in action, including its high-speed rejection rate. Thanks to Mettler-Toledo for an interesting hour!

For those of you attending next week, see you there! Please drop myself or Sarah Hills an email or LinkedIn message if you’d like to arrange to meet on the 28 or 29 January.
