Metpack 2026 is in full swing

What a wonderful few days we’ve had so far in Essen.
Our team has been busy greeting customers and readers to our stand 3B27 in Hall 3, as well as welcoming new faces and introducing them to our publication and upcoming events. With Metpack being the stage for the global metal packaging industry, we’ve had a lot of interest in both Asia CanTech and CanTech the Grand Tour, as well as future regional-based features.
Content-wise, I’ve been gathering all the latest industry developments ready to share with you in our Metpack 2026 review, which is due to be published very soon, so look out for that. This will include exclusive insights from interviews and discussions at exhibitor stands, as well as from the Talk in a Can forum and Metpack Conference. The Messe Essen team has also prepared a special market report using key data from Smithers, authored by Mark Smyth.
For those of you who have stopped by for a canned drink already, you know where to find us for the next one! Thank you also to those who have welcomed us to their stands too. We’ve seen (and definitely heard) machines and essential pieces of equipment in action, and learned about the next game-changers in these areas – more on that soon.
It’s been a brilliant time so far. Here’s to the next day and half we have left to network, showcase and create ideas to fuel the future of metal packaging. Make the most of it, and safe return or onward journeys to everyone!
