Jet set CanTech

It’s certainly been a busy few months for the team here, both in and out of CanTech HQ in south east England. We have been travelling extensively to bring you the very latest stories and updates from around the world and the air miles are indeed stacking up!

First off we had Metpack of course, where highlights included Matriruiz winning the Gold innovation award for their Spider Head Liner, and of course the CanTech red bus and bar on our stand.

Following this, group sales manager Adam Young and myself travelled to the IMDA conference in Illinois to keep abreast of the metal decorating industry. Here it was very interesting to learn about the challenges that metal decorators are facing. One in particular I mentioned in a recent post, which alluded to the problem of colour matching when printing on aluminium and the issues printers face when trying to explain certain limitations to clients.

There have followed several meetings around the UK, and just yesterday we booked our flights to Bangkok for our forthcoming Asia CanTech event. Many of you have already signed up to join us in Thailand and it is still not too late to register.

If you are interested in joining us, please email Megan Freeman at [email protected]

All of these trips and travels contribute to the content we bring you in each issue, and the latest July/August publication has just been sent to the printers. Keep an eye out for it soon and be reassured that we have an ever-exciting line up to bring you once more.

Best,

Richard
