Stolle Brazil now fully certified

Stolle Machinery Company’s facility in Brazil has achieved a major milestone by earning ISO 9001 certification on all of its production activities and services.

In 2010, Stolle Brazil was certified as ISO 9001 compliant by Bureau Veritas Certification (formerly BVQI) in several areas, and in July 2011 the facility was certified for machinery build and rebuilds. The complete scope of certifications now includes production, assembly and sales of production equipment for metal packaging, technical services, production and sales of spare parts, and rebuild of components and tooling used on machinery for metallic packaging production.

Centrally located in Indaiatuba (near São Paulo), Stolle Brazil is a full service contract logistics centre (CLC) that produces machinery and tooling for can and end production, including compound end liners, inside spray machines, light testers and the newest Standun B724 bodymaker.

The facility also does rebuilds for local customers on decorator inkers and die sets for cuppers, shell systems, and conversion system lane and tab dies. In addition to machine assembly, Stolle Brazil has full machining capabilities to produce spare parts and tooling for customers throughout South America and also for Stolle’s US production facilities. Stolle Brazil also has a strong technical team that supports can makers in South America and around the world.

Stolle Brazil general manager, Arnaldo Costa, said: “This certificate is an important recognition that our quality systems are strong enough to allow us to consistently produce not only quality equipment and spare parts, but also to supply a high level of technical services to our valued customers around the globe.”

Based in Centennial, Colorado, US, Stolle Machinery Company, LLC is a leader in the provision of high technology capital equipment and services to the beverage, food, and consumer container industries.
