Tetley marks anniversary with Crown collaboration

In commemoration of its 180th anniversary, tea brand Tetley has teamed up with Crown Aerosols and Specialty Packaging Europe to create a limited edition celebration tin.

In order to create Tetley’s premium tin design brief, Crown’s in-house design team used metallic inks with gloss and matte varnishes; the logo and supporting message were embossed.

Tetley chose metal as the format for the celebratory package as a means to convey its commitment to sustainability.

It is hoped that the collectible nature of the tin will encourage consumers to reuse it or treat it as a keepsake once the product has been consumed.
