Smithers announced for Grand Tour
Smithers Pira, one of the leading expertise and market intelligence service, has been confirmed as the latest keynote speaker for this year’s CanTech The Grand Tour trade show.
Smithers Pira has over 80 years’ technical and scientific experience, and help clients around the world with its business and testing requirements. The company provides market reports, which are independent and expert views of emerging markets, technologies and factors which affecting the packaging, paper and print industries.
Specific to the metal packaging industry, last year the organisation released research titled The Future of Metal Packaging and Coatings to 2023, which focuses on the critical factors underpinning the industry’s moderate annual expansion of 1.6% year-on-year, which drives the value to $114 billion in 2023.
Presenting for Smithers Pira will be Ania Krolak, managing consultant for Europe, Middle East and Asia, based in the UK, specialising in packaging. Krolak has over 20 years’ experience in strategic and new business development consultancy projects, the majority spent on packaging and printing assignments.
Krolak has worked in Europe, North America, South America and Asia, for a wide variety of blue chip industrial clients, government agencies as well as financial investors (private equity firms and banks). Prior to joining Smithers, she was senior consultant with Pöyry Management Consulting in London and Helsinki, head of business Intelligence of Ciba Expert Services (now Smithers) in Leatherhead, and head of Eastern European Research with the consulting arm of Applied Market information in Bristol.
